Well he promised; Bipartisanship, transparency, job growth, world respect, new infrastructure, lower taxes for the middle class, to root the terrorists from Afghanistan, not to engage Lobbyists in his Admin., to close Gitmo, and many other things. None of these things have happened.
Instead, Obama has: opined on the Special Olympics, given his assessment of local police matters, hired avowed tax cheats & communists. He has apologized for our Country where ever he has been. He has delayed decision on military assistance for troops in the field but supported unions and groups like ACORN until the public has screamed aloud. He has given new meaning to the word debt. His political payoffs are larger than any other figure head in the entire history of the world (his payola is in trillions). He has given the stimulus that didn’t, promised unemployment wouldn’t hit above 8 (it is now 10.2).
He swore the enemy was in Afghanistan, but now has refused the pleas for help from the man he placed in charge there (all while troops die in the field). He has smiled at and hugged dictators and joked with late night talk show hosts; but he doesn’t like Fox and doesn’t want anyone to like them either…
He chose to sit in the pew with the Reverend Wright for 20 years, but says he never heard him. He praises Pelosi as she lies and fumbles with mistruth and accusations of all but herself.
He picked Holder, and Emanuel and Geithner and Dunn. He likes Ayers and Stein and I think he subscribes to Cloward and Pivens. His associations are more than questionable. His promises broken (see this post for the 3rd party review of just how many promises he has left unfulfilled http://www.stevesimon.us/blog/?p=1502 ).
All this in just under a year in office. Our Country cannot take another 3 years like the past year. I think there is only one answer to this, “Vote his cohorts out of office in 2010 and then send him back to organizing communities in Chicago in 2012″.
This is my opinion and this is still America (but for how long?)…
