Glenn Beck Show – November 19, 2009 – Pt 5 of 6 – Exposing John Murtha

Because we don’t watch (or simply cannot to the degree we should) behavior like this goes on.

John Murtha in my opinion is a criminal. He has stolen the votes and representation of millions of Americans. He has done this for almost 20 terms in Washington DC and still he wins reelection.

How could Nancy Pelosi be anything other than what she is after following this act?

The left hates Glenn Beck, I love the guy! He is entertaining, to be sure, but he tells the truth at the same time. I was in office. I served for eight years. I never misused so much as a phone call. I never stole, received no payoffs and missed one meeting in the eight years (when I had a fever). This kind of garbage can’t stand.

These people (ie Murtha) aren’t doing this in the back alley of the bad neighborhood. They are not in a seedy motel caught on an ABSCAM video. They are doing this on Capital Hill, in the light of day and in front of the cameras and the American People.

They are daring us to do something about it.

I believe the current President, his Cabinet and close Congressional allies are no better than John Murtha.

I believe they have harmed our nation greatly and should at the very least voted out of office at the earliest opportunity. What do you believe?

Can you watch this clip and say this man belongs in Congress as a leader?

Should his behavior be ignored and the accepted as the norm?

Are we no better than this?

Where are the outbursts from the dozens of members of this body of elected officials?

Why does it take two years and Glenn Beck’s research staff to bring it to the National attention?

Over time things change. Slowly sometimes, faster other times. I believe over time we as a people have stopped being outraged. I think we have become desensitized by our media and World events; to the point that a man smiles and lies from the highest podium in the land and we now don’t even notice.

This is wrong. This is very wrong. The main stream media allows it. The left either ignores it or profits from it. The current members of Congress don’t do enough to stop it.

I firmly believe that this healthcare debacle is as bad a bill as have ever been written. Send a message to your Representatives. Tell them you will do everything in your power to see that they have no career whatsoever if they vote for this. The elections of 2010 will be a cross road for America. I hope my children and my children’s children get a chance to see the freedoms and the good that was America (as I did growing up).

Murtha and those like him need to be sent packing.

The internet and free radio allows for the dissemination of truth by the people. Fight to keep both free…
