I have not subscribed to the St. Pete Times for years (personal reasons, very personal). That said their online offerings are not without merit. My favorite may be the Truth O Meter! Here is the latest from that page in cyberspace, Broken Promises by Obama

While the above have been completely ignored, these ( many more) have been kind of Half-Broken Promises (of course if you’re one of the most Liberal newspapers in the Country you call that a “Compromise”; but it is in fact a half hearted attempt to satisfy without regard for result…)

You look at these pages, read them & you start to realize this crop has gone bad in so many ways. To be sure there are some good points to be found, but not enough to warrant keeping any of them. I haven’t oft said this but I do believe this Country that I love, would be much better off by ousting all of them. A message would be sent! The new prospects would have to pass a simple litmus test to get my support. They would have to advocate: Single term for all office holders. Basic math skills & reading comprehension testing for all candidates. Jail terms for “Bribery” of any elected official (for both the giver of the bribe as well as the receiver). No Bill or order (other than for a defense of our shores) could be signed without 30 days of public disclosure. Mandatory deficit reduction built in until there is no public debt.

Those would be my minimum requirements for any that wants to lead. Your thoughts?
