31 Aug 10 I think that If this President & Congress continue to govern without the consent of the people there will be “Trouble”…

The 1st signs of disregard for the rule of law came early in Obama’s reign; it was the kidnapping of the “Census”. This illegal act was ignored by the main stream media and in my opinion was a grave foreshadow for what was to follow.

There were admitted thieves appointed to cabinet positions. Former terrorists were elevated to the level of Presidential Confidant. Promises of transparency & zero “Pork” were bulldozed into the dirt by Harry Reid & Nancy Pelosi.

The President stuck his nose (and his mouth) anywhere and everywhere; consistently blaming his  predecessor and calling the police stupid and everyone else that had questions about his actions racist…

There used what amounts to Congressional Bribery to pass his insane 2,700+ page ObamaCare Debacle; and have interfered with local races across the Country.

They (Obama & Crew) have stolen from the masses via the non-stop borrowing and redistribution (to his select cronies ie: the Unions, Federal employees & Liberal Left wing organizations).

I tell you this, I believe my eyes don’t lie:

There were Hundreds of Thousands! at Glenn beck’s event!

The People of this Country are furious with this President & his evil  minions.

If this man, Obama, continues to cram his Marxist agenda down  the throat of middle America; if he does the same smash & grab for  Cap and Trade as he did for his Crony favoring Health Bill, I think there will be real trouble in the United States.

His persecution of Arizona, his misplaced and unwarranted  support for the “Ground Zero Mosque”, coupled with his endless expensive vacations have all combined to make him the most unpopular President in American History.

The riots in Greece were a warning. Disturbances like that were not on the American radar a few years ago; but now after just two years of this arrogant man I believe we are headed for similar events>

It may be we are just a short step from the photo at the right…

26 Aug 10 The “Florida Senate Race” an interesting situation… Obama & the Dems have a decision to make!

The three candidates for the US Senate in Florida have created a dilemma for the Democratic Party & Obama. Usually the choice is simple, “Vote for & Support the Party’s Guy (or Gal)”; but this race is different:

Meek Meek, the Dem in the race has already been reportedly given the “Obama Nod”.

The problem is, “He ain’t going to win!” In fact he will by any intelligent calculation  finish 3rd in a three man race…

The Dems and of course the “Anointed One” desperately want to retain control of  the Senate (so they can continue to destroy the Country with their insane Liberal    programs & spending. So each and every seat in the Senate is key.

So will they (the Democratic Party & Obama ) abandon the young clean cut Meek    in favor of the “Tan Man” (Crist)?

Remember if Meek isn’t going to win, and Obama & the “Crew” support him, not  only do they lose the seat, they lose face.

Worse, the winner could me Marco Rubio! Not good if you’re an avowed Marxist…  Rubio is like “Kryptonite” to the Leftist Elite.

He, Rubio, has openly said he will oppose & stand up to the current “Regime”; taking the Country back to it’s roots of greatness.

So if you’re Obama do you go back on your word, ignore your Party & support Crist (simply because Charlie has a chance of winning) and you’re really afraid of Marco? It is a tight spot (if you have any ethics at all). I mean not supporting Kendrick Meek would make Obama & the Dems look  like Political Whores.

But is that enough of a deterrent to stop them from supporting “Good Time Charlie”?

I am betting on the current regime’s lack of integrity! I am pretty sure they will throw Meek under the bus and support Charlie Crist the current Independent & former Republican…

Regardless of what they do Marco Rubio will be a formidable challenger; and he is by the way the guy I will be supporting & voting for…

21 Aug 10 A little “Catch-up” with Obama… (how is he doing?)

Well perhaps today now that Iran will officially be going Nuclear! we ought to review a bit about the job the “Anointed One” has been doing:

  • Transparency, not exactly, this has been one of the most legislatively & administratively secretive regimes in American history.
  • Unemployment, not so good—- after pledging “Unemployment wouldn’t go above 8% if he got his “Stimulus” passed; we have had 10% unemployment (even with the numbers being doctored). Joblessness amongst the poor much much worse.
  • His handling of the BP Spill has made the Bush’s Admin. look good during Katrina…
  • Race relations in America; been brought back 100 years under Obama do mainly to his arrogant & condescending commentary (which never seems to end).
  • Foreign policy; we have a nukes in Iran, dead soldiers all over the Middle East, the Chinese are our bankers, Chavez is the new “Role Model”, Israel is screwed (by Obama)
  • If we were to measure “Ethic” visible in this administration we would need a microscope, R. Emanual, H. Reid, N. Pelosi, T. Geithner, C. Sunnstein, H. Soliz, et al; the list of his appointees & cabinet people lie, cheat & steal (and certainly don’t pay their taxes).
  • Leadership… If taking expensive vacations, partying, shooting hoops all count; he is doing well….
  • Protecting the borders, “Talk to some folks from Arizona…”

Obama Hand on head

All in all I would give him something along the lines of an “F” if this were an academic setting; but sadly this is the “Real World” and he (Obama) gets no grade, he just continues to petulantly bungles everything he handles and will continue to do so, for at least another couple of years…

15 Aug 10 Crist tells CNN he agrees with Obama (re: the Mosque)… IMO both he & Obama are Anti-American.

Charlie Crist morphs into the biggest piece of political crap I have seen in Florida office…

Panama City, Florida – In a boost for President Obama on a red-hot controversy, Florida Gov. Charlie Crist told CNN Saturday that he fully supports Obama’s decision to back construction of an Islamic center and mosque near New York’s ground zero.

“I think he’s right – yeah,” Crist, who was elected governor as a Republican but is now running for Senate as an independent candidate, told CNN. “We are a country in my view that stands for freedom of religion. You know, respect for others. I know there are sensitivities and I understand that, but I think Mayor Bloomberg is right and I think the President is right.”

Crist offered his support in a brief interview as he waited for Obama to arrive at a U.S. Coast Guard station for a presidential visit aimed at boosting tourism in the Gulf region, which has suffered economically as a result of the BP oil spill – the worst in American history.

But the President’s message on the Gulf is now at risk of being overshadowed by the controversy over his abrupt decision to enter the fray over a plan to build an Islamic center and mosque near New York’s ground zero. Obama weighed in on the topic at a Friday evening event he hosted at the White House to celebrate the breaking of the fast for the Muslim holiday Ramadan.

White House spokesman Robert Gibbs in recent weeks had repeatedly said the White House would not comment on the mosque because it was local issue. Administration officials said the President weighed in now because New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg has now come out in favor of the project.

But Republicans like Rep. Peter King, R-New York, immediately blasted the President’s decision.

“It is insensitive and uncaring for the Muslim community to build a mosque in the shadow of Ground Zero,” said King. “While the Muslim community has the right to build the mosque they are abusing that right by needlessly offending so many people who have suffered so much. The right and moral thing for President Obama to have done was to urge Muslim leaders to respect the families of those who died and move their mosque away from Ground Zero. Unfortunately the President caved in to political correctness.”

But Crist told CNN he completely disagrees with that view.

“This is a place where you’re supposed to be able to practice your religion without the government telling you that you can’t,” said Crist.

Crist has been increasingly alienated from the Republican Party, and his latest comments will only fuel speculation that he may decide to caucus with Senate Democrats in 2011 if he’s elected as an independent in November.

But not every candidate for the Florida Senate seat agrees with Crist and President Obama. Those that oppose the plan include Jeff Greene, who is gunning for the Democratic nomination.

“President Obama has this all wrong and I strongly oppose his support for building a mosque near Ground Zero especially since Islamic terrorists have bragged and celebrated destroying the Twin Towers and killing nearly 3,000 Americans,” Greene said in a statement.

12 Aug 10 In Simple Terms, “Why Obama-Land Cannot Exist Long Term…”

This was written by me, quite a while ago, to explain the difference between Primary and Secondary Markets (to students in my real estate investment analysis class).

It is still a very easy to follow model that illustrates how you can get in trouble (doing what Obama is doing) and why we shouldn’t be Heading down this path…

The Village Story:

Let’s say you live in a village. The village is a wonderful place to be. Good school, great views, good tasting water, fertile soil. Just a great place to raise your children. In the village there are blacksmith shops, bakeries, seamstresses and many other little shops. All of these run by other villagers. Over time the village grows and there are some changes. The village now has a Mayor and a sheriff. There is a street sweeper for Main Street. There is a a Fire House, a Church and even an “Old Folks Home”. The Little Village has grown!

The Mayor initially worked for free, served his village because he wanted to help. The Firemen were volunteers & the Church was built with donations. However now that the village has grown, the Mayor needs help, he needs a secretary. The Fire House needs new hoses. There aren’t enough volunteers at the “Old Folks Home”. The answer comes in the form of taxes. All the little shop owners pay a little bit of what they make to keep the services working & life in the village continues. However the taxes are soon not enough to cover the costs. The mayor’s Secretary needs an assistant. The Fireman need another wagon for the far side of the village. Due to skirmishes with other villages & disease there are now orphans in the village and they need help. The only answer seems to be to ask the shop keepers to pay more of their sales into the village tax fund; at least that is the only answer the new Deputy Mayor can come up with!

You see the problem. The village went from self-sufficiency to Government Dependant. Where in the beginning everyone in the village produced a good or service, now there are those that do not, either because they can’t or they simply choose not to. The problem is that the circle of money in the village hasn’t enlarged. The money that was in the village is still there, but no outside money comes in to pay for the costs of those that do not produce anything. The shop keepers are depending upon the money in circulation to run their businesses; but the taxes make that difficult if not impossible to do.

The village is suffering from a lack of “Primary” industry! There are no shops or businesses that sell their goods or services to other villages so as to bring more money into the village from the outside. You see if you want to have a society where some do not produce, you must have money enter the system from outside the circle to help pay for those inside that do not produce.

A baker, unless they are the most skilled & gifted baker will not help, other villages have bakers. The blacksmith will not help most villages have their own blacksmith or the farmer shoes their own horses. No these business & shop owners are part of the villages “Secondary” industry or service economy & they survive upon the cash in circulation within the village.

The Mayor & Deputy Mayor and all Government service people within the village do work, but they do not add money into the village’s economy. The contrary is true they use up a good deal of the money without producing a product.

Not all villages have this problem. There is a neighboring village to the North; they have a thriving economy. It seems they have learned how to build very solid “Fire Wagons” and they have been selling them to all the other neighboring villages. The maker of the “Fire Wagons” has hired three men to help build the wagons, he pays them wages for working. He also has hired women that help make the signs that adorn the Fire wagons that they sell. The women earn wages too! All of these people that work in the “Fire Wagon” shop spend their money in their village’s shops and in this village the taxes are very low.

It would seem that adding a Deputy Mayor, or a new Sheriff does little for the economy. The Government job isn’t the answer. It would seem that the only answer is to have a product or service that someone outside the village will pay for, thereby bringing money into the village.

Some villages to the South do well also. They seem to do well because they are located on the “Big Lake”. It seems many travelers visit the village by the “Big Lake”. They fish, and swim and paddle their canoes; all the while spending their money in the village on the lake.

This won’t help the first village, they have no “Big Lake”. The land cannot be moved, so unless you have something that others wish to visit you don’t attract visitors and their money.

There are only two choices for the first village. They must close the “Old Folk’s Home”, fire the Mayor and his staff and go back to growing their own food; or they must begin to build something that other people in other villages will be willing to pay for. Those are the only two choices. Further the first must either build something so unique that no other village can supply it, or they must build something useful and be able to sell it for less than others sell it for. They must either innovate or become very efficient.

It has always been this way…

America must produce and produce competitively. Government “Make Work” programs like the Obama Administration are promoting will not work. We must either innovate or invent the new. Or we must become more efficient at producing the current. These are the only choices.

We have been discussing the Economy, the EPA, Obama’s Health Care and more on Wed.’s between 3 and 4 pm EST. On Simon Sez (my radio show). Call in 1 866 826-1340 and be Heard (not Herd). Listen to the show live (and previous shows) Here!

Build your own custom video playlist at embedr.com

Lord knows the Left tortured “GW” for 8 years. These are Cartoons for Conservatives. Nothing more, nothing less. I hope they make you chuckle. Given the unemployment, foreign policy, pending health care, future Cap & Trade Legislation and who the heck knows what else is coming; a chuckle isn’t a bad idea…
